Description

• Apixio is looking for a Business Analyst to join our analytics team who is curious about data, passionate about analyzing and deriving insights from it, and proficient in implementing the tools to do so. • In this role, you will be working closely with our internal customers, helping them create reports and dashboards that help them understand metrics about their respective functional areas. • The business analyst position is ideal for someone who has the right mix of data analysis and communication skills to collect requirements and analyze data to deliver the same.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Health Services or Economics or equivalent field required. • 1-3 years of hands-on work experience in business intelligence and analytics. Technical knowledge of BI techniques and tools like Tableau or Looker. • Experience conducting data analysis in Python, SQL and Excel • Strong communication skills necessary to relay complex data analysis requirements to team members and customers. • Strong organizational and planning skills are essential. • Ability to work independently when needed, applying critical thinking and problem solving to achieve a positive outcome. • Demonstrated expertise in data visualization and storytelling techniques, utilizing advanced tools and frameworks to create compelling and interactive data visualizations. • High agency, integrity, ownership, and curiosity. • Experience working in the healthcare industry • Experience with object oriented programming • Experience with statistics and data modeling concepts like multivariate regression, segmentation modeling, machine learning, data mining, simulation, optimization, forecasting • Experience with other business intelligence backend and analytics applications
