Description

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of IT Infrastructure Operations to join our fast-growing, energetic, and cloud-first biotechnology company. • The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented thinker with technical experience and a focus on collaboration, customer service, user experience, and the effective support of business goals. • This role requires an individual who can guide projects to completion with quality and efficiency in coordination with our MSP, while also contributing directly with strong technical skills. • In this newly created position, you will have the opportunity to build and grow our infrastructure operations through robust cloud solutions that support Apogee's growth and scientific breakthroughs while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within our team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field • Extensive knowledge of IT Infrastructure platforms, such as Azure, Okta, M365, and IAM, with hands-on experience in implementing, architecting and managing infrastructure operations and services • A minimum of 7 years of infrastructure-related experience • Minimum of 3 years managing infrastructure teams and vendors • Proven experience in leading successful MSP relationships, driving efficiency, business results, and high user satisfaction • Experience in a high-growth biotech or pharmaceutical company environment • Strong project management skills with high sense of urgency, ability to collaborate and influence effectively cross-functionally • Proven ability to effectively execute IT projects within designated program budgets, timelines, and compliance guidelines • Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to a variety of stakeholders and tailor message accordingly • Successfully exhibit Apogee’s C.O.R.E. values: Caring, Original, Resilient and Egoless • Relevant certifications are a plus • This position requires 10 – 15% travel
