• The purpose of this role is to establish a secure, efficient & BaaS compliant tech environment by managing company devices and enforcing security protocols, safeguarding data, controlling access, and supporting product operations with tech solutions that enable our team to work securely and productively from any location. • The Security & Compliance Specialist will report to the VP of Product and take charge of device management & security and BaaS compliance. • You’ll handle the entire device lifecycle, ensuring all team devices are secure and compliant. • You’ll also oversee password management, VPN access, and user permissions, playing a vital role in keeping our digital environment safe and efficient as well as timely and accurate execution of the Baas Compliance program. • Set up devices for new hires, ensuring they follow security rules and are enrolled in management systems. • Handle device returns for exiting employees, keeping an organized tracking system. • Set up secure virtual machines for remote workers, mainly in the Philippines and Mexico. • Implement a password manager, VPNs, etc., and train employees on secure usage. • Oversee software permissions, including SSO and two-factor authentication. • Administer compliance training (KnowB4) and assist employees with questions. • Review transaction monitoring alerts and manage customer complaint escalations. • Conduct manual KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) • Perform routine assessments of vendor security and monitoring internal practices
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, device management, and security • Solid understanding of VPNs, password management, SSO, 2FA, and SOC2 compliance • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in tracking devices and permissions • Strong communicator, skilled in troubleshooting and guiding employees on security practices • Proven track record of reliability and follow-through • Effective in a remote setup with a stable 50+ Mbps internet connection and willing to working graveyard shifts
