• As a Seasonal Group Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing upcoming group reservations for our properties including Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas (Page, AZ), Wilderness River Adventures and Mesa Verde National Park (Mancos, CO). • Your responsibilities will include updating reservation details, processing payments, issuing accurate receipts, providing information to guests about their visit and handling other administrative tasks as required. • Servicing as the liaison between travel agencies or group organizers and our properties, you will ensure seamless communication and coordination. • Training will be provided about the properties mentioned and their relevant computer systems. • This seasonal part-time position has the opportunity for full-time hours as business dictates. • The role typically runs from April 1 to October 1, with opportunities for successful candidates to return in subsequent years, or to be converted to year-round status based upon business demands. • The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, open to adding hours with short notice, has availability between 7am and 7pm AZ time and is computer savvy. • Experiences with National Parks is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of all company systems including SMS-Host (central reservations system), PMS (property management systems), online booking engine and 3rd party distribution systems required; comprehensive understanding of APDs properties, policies and procedures preferred; • Background in inventory management and prior experience in the hospitality/travel/tourism industry preferred; • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload; meets deadlines and performs multiple tasks with a high attention to detail; • Strategic thinker and tactical implementer with strong analytical abilities; • Can learn quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced, high performance driven culture; • Highly motivated, self-sufficient, dependable and able to operate effectively without close supervision; must demonstrate initiative by taking ownership to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal direction from others; • Outstanding computer skills; must be browser proficient and possess the ability to effectively communicate technical information to individuals with non-technical backgrounds; • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; • Demonstrates a high level of customer service by responding to internal and external customer needs until satisfied; utilizes effective decision-making and problem-solving skills; • Team player who fulfills commitments to other team members with a positive attitude; able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with other leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization.
