📋 Description
• Arcadis is looking to hire a Fire Protection Federal SME to support the Places Design & Engineering group. • The ideal candidate would be a fire protection engineer with extensive experience in facility design related to United States federal agencies. • The successful candidate will have an advanced technical understanding of fire alarm and suppression systems. • Knowledge of life safety codes and industry standards is essential.
🎯 Requirements
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position as part of federal employment eligibility requirements • Bachelor of Science (BS) in mechanical or fire protection engineering with at least 10 to 15 years of experience in consulting engineering and performing facility design • Fire Protection Professional Engineering Licensure in the United States • Extensive experience producing IFC design packages for federal agency facilities • Strong communication skills related to presentations, project communications, and written documents • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external team members and identify additional project opportunities
