Description

• Arcadis is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support our Design and Engineering team throughout the USA. • Participate within the fire protection discipline team of multiple concurrent projects. • Responsible for advancing design efforts and making design decisions. • Support proposal and business development efforts. • Lead design teams to develop construction-ready drawing packages. • Design for available capacity, redundancy, reliability, efficiency, and safety. • Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys. • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards such as NFPA. • Fluency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, hydraulic calculation software).

Requirements

• BS in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent • 5 or more years of relevant experience in Fire Protection Engineering • Professional license (e.g., EIT/PE or GIT/PG) • NICET accreditation preferred • Lean design and construction experience. • LEED Accredited Professional.
