Description

• Responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, scrubbing, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets • Provide analysis, process and normalize data, ensure data integrity • Create queries, views, and reports • Review and input reinsurance submission data • Set up Property pricing models • Document files after business binding • Essential communication with underwriters • Interpret data and analyze results • Develop and implement data collection systems • Acquire and maintain databases/data systems • Identify trends in complex data sets • Filter and scrub data • Review reports and performance indicators

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Required) • Proficiency in VBA/Excel (Optional) • Proficiency in SQL (Optional) • Proficiency in Microsoft Access (Optional) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Required) • At least one year experience in Insurance industry (preferably Property Insurance) • Technical expertise in data models, database design, development, data mining, and segmentation techniques • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy • Knowledge of statistics and statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.) • Experience with reporting packages and databases (SQL, etc.) • Proficient in queries, report writing, and presenting findings
