Description

• Accountable for owning the end-to-end product lifecycle of the Omnichannel Platform • Steering the strategic product roadmap from discovery, design, delivery, and support • Leverage industry leading skills in Retail Platform capability development • Lead the effort in budget and resource planning • Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to shape vision and strategy • Responsible for the platform’s lifecycle from cradle to grave • Play a crucial role in shaping the platform used by all developers at Arc’teryx • Opportunity to learn, shape and grow services that power Arc’teryx growth over the next decade

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business or a related field • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner in a technical environment • 3+ years’ professional experience in software development or developer tools • 2+ years’ experience working with APIs, Cloud technology such as Kubernetes, Redis, no-sql databases and backend server technology • Technical background and/or strong experience in a technical environment • Demonstrated success working in an agile methodology • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders • Strong leadership and people management skills • Exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, frameworks and requirements • Strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities • Demonstrated success in managing budgets and resources for product portfolios • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and meet deadlines • High level of analytical and critical thinking • Strong facilitation, diplomacy, and leadership skills • Experience coaching and mentoring in an agile development environment • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration • Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement • Seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right • Passion for the work paralleled by a passion for getting outside and living it
