β€’ Evaluate digital content and technology for compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. β€’ Test various digital assets and identify accessibility issues. β€’ Collaborate with developers, designers, and content creators for inclusive products. β€’ Conduct thorough accessibility testing on websites, applications, documents, and digital content. β€’ Use assistive technologies to simulate the experience of users with disabilities. β€’ Review and interpret accessibility guidelines, including WCAG. β€’ Document and report accessibility issues with suggestions for solutions. β€’ Create and execute test plans for accessibility testing covering diverse disabilities. β€’ Stay updated with industry trends and attend training sessions. β€’ Conduct periodic audits of digital assets for compliance.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, etc.) or equivalent work experience. β€’ Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and standards, including WCAG 2.1. β€’ Experience with assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools. β€’ Familiarity with disability types and challenges, and the ability to simulate various user experiences. β€’ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. β€’ Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate accessibility issues. β€’ Knowledge of programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on accessibility is a plus. β€’ Relevant certifications in accessibility testing or web development are advantageous.
