📋 Description

• Evaluate digital content and technology for compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. • Test various digital assets and identify accessibility issues. • Collaborate with developers, designers, and content creators for inclusive products. • Conduct thorough accessibility testing on websites, applications, documents, and digital content. • Use assistive technologies to simulate the experience of users with disabilities. • Review and interpret accessibility guidelines, including WCAG. • Document and report accessibility issues with suggestions for solutions. • Create and execute test plans for accessibility testing covering diverse disabilities. • Stay updated with industry trends and attend training sessions. • Conduct periodic audits of digital assets for compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, etc.) or equivalent work experience. • Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and standards, including WCAG 2.1. • Experience with assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools. • Familiarity with disability types and challenges, and the ability to simulate various user experiences. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate accessibility issues. • Knowledge of programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on accessibility is a plus. • Relevant certifications in accessibility testing or web development are advantageous.
