Lead legal strategy at Serve Robotics, a fast-growing tech company.

• Serve as primary advisor and counsel on all legal matters, including overseeing general corporate, corporate governance, intellectual property, commercial contracts, liability and insurance issues, employment law, and compliance matters.
• Advise on corporate finance and securities law matters, including preparing SEC filings such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and S-8, Proxy Statements, and Section 16 reports.
• Manage relationships with outside counsel.
• Lead contract and other negotiations with outside parties.
• Advocate on Serve’s behalf in legal proceedings.
• Organize and maintain company legal documents.

Electrical Engineer

Designing, validating, and troubleshooting electrical designs in robotics applications.

• Responsible for designing, validating and troubleshooting all aspects of the electrical design, from the components, PCB and system levels
• Own design tasks involving schematic, layout, component and circuit selection
• Work cross functionally with and support other teams and stakeholders to ensure that the electrical design meets the company's objectives

Senior Electrical Engineer

Machine Learning Engineer

Build and improve the ML infrastructure platform for autonomous delivery robots.

• Develop and maintain ML infrastructure, such as sensor data ETL pipelines, hard example data mining, continuous training pipelines, annotation platform, etc.
• Develop MLOps system for managing lifecycle of ML cloud training and inference as a service pipelines. Continuously improve ML model development, management and deployment processes.
• Work together with ML engineers, design metrics for ML tasks to mine sensor data of interest.
• Design and implement algorithms, such as collaborative filtering, active learning, etc., to rank/score annotation candidates.
• Work with annotation provider on setting up the annotation process, quality control and feedback loops.
• Make sensor data and its derivatives widely discoverable and accessible for Robotics Engineers across the entire company.

Senior Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure

Develop perception models for sidewalk autonomy using innovative machine learning techniques.

• Build foundational model for vision language and action that can exhibit good reasoning and maneuvering capability. Understands transformer based ML architecture really well.
• Design, train and deploy learning-based perception models for on-robot perception systems. Perception models should be able to do multi-modal learning capturing different semantics such as segmentation, object detection, scene understanding and tracking.
• Work with ML infrastructure engineers to assess and monitor model performance, analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand real-world problems and define tasks, incorporating insights into ML products.
• Produce high-quality code for software development, participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of code, and share knowledge with the team.
• Comfortable working with sql queries and ETL logic for data ingress.

Performance Marketing

Optimize CPU and GPU performance for software in autonomous delivery robots.

• Collaborate with the autonomy team to understand new feature requirements and their impact on system performance.
