• ARETUM, a leading government contracting company, is seeking a highly qualified Nutrition SME/Project Manager. • Oversee initiatives that improve the delivery and effectiveness of nutrition programs. • Develop, modify, review, and provide input on nutrition-related research and training plans. • Monitor and track all project activities and deliverable submissions. • Maintain project management tools using approved software. • Utilize nutrition expertise when reviewing project deliverables. • Participate in project-related administrative and technical meetings. • Implement or maintain quality assurance and SOP processes. • Assist in the development of outreach and communication plans. • Promote nutrition messages through multiple channels. • Communicate with Regional Offices and stakeholders. • Assist in planning professional nutrition meetings. • Review summary reports and make recommendations for improvement. • Nutrition SMEs shall possess strong skills and demonstrated experience in nutrition-related work.
• Master’s degree or graduate/higher level degree in the fields of dietetics, food, nutrition, food service management, public health, health education, or a related field required. • Minimum of 4-7 years of demonstrated project/program management required • Professional certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is required. • Minimum of 3 years working with Child Nutrition Programs at a Federal Government agency or at a State agency or at a local organization or local agency who operates at least one of the Child Nutrition Programs would meet this requirement (in particular, National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program). • Demonstrated ability to implement accountability and project management measures to ensure high-quality, timely and cost-effective results; • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of attention to detail, organization skills and customer service (i.e. working with internal and external stakeholders to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve issues). • Demonstrated information management experience (i.e. gathering information, organizing and maintaining information or information management systems). • Demonstrated experience in project planning and evaluation (i.e. organizing work, setting priorities, determining resources, determining project goals, and coordinating/monitoring progress to accomplish goals). • Strong proficiency related to oral communication and interpersonal skills (i.e. expressing information to individuals or groups effectively, assessing target audience communication needs, applying strong listening skills). • Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification preferred
