• ROLE TYPE: 12-month FTC • REPORTING TO: Head of Human Resources • DEPARTMENT: Human Resources (HR) • LOCATION: UK, remote. • DIRECT REPORTS JOB TITLE(S): Recruitment Administrator • CLOSING DATE: 6th October 2024 • ABOUT ARK: ARK is a social enterprise, empowering local communities through the provision of agile and sustainable interventions to create greater stability, opportunity and hope for the future. • The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join a small HR Department and be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of recruiting. • Own the entire hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing to extending offers. • Develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. • Recruit for roles from entry-level to senior leadership, utilising various sourcing channels and techniques. • Support Country HR with guidance on local recruitment activities. • Create a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Significant experience in managing an in-house talent acquisition service. • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods. • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy, ever-changing workload. • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks. • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to source candidates proactively. • Experience working in an international development/humanitarian organisation or other highly regulated international environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with potential candidates. • Proficient in MS Office, with experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS (MS Dynamics desirable). • Fluent in written and spoken English. • Knowledge of Pay & Reward/job evaluation desirable.
