Founded by Rich Bello, the co-founder and COO of Blue Ridge Capital, Rich’s aim is to leverage his experience working with top Hedge Fund Executives to achieve peak performance. • Arootah services include: Providing expert advisors in key operational areas to emerging/established Investment firms Coaching direct-to-consumer (executive and career coaching) Advising clients with Capital Introduction and Raising for Emerging Managers Investing in a portfolio of public and private companies that make a positive impact Building SaaS applications for both enterprise and consumer use Providing Talent Acquisition and Development services to the financial industry • What we are looking for: We are on the lookout for pragmatic Chief Administrative Officers to work with our growing list of prestigious clients. This role is all about getting our administrative ship in order, ensuring efficiency without the unnecessary frills.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified is a must • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or Scrum Master Certification is a HUGE plus • Proven experience within a Family Office or Hedge Fund Experience with Click up and Timely or similar tools is a must • Excellent communication and follow up skills
• Comprehensive Time Management: Oversee the practical details of scheduling and time allocation, making sure every hour serves a purpose. • Strategic Project Planning: Develop and maintain business plans, mission statements, and practical project plans that cut to the chase. • Priority Reporting: Generate reports that are straight to the point, detailing actions, time budgets, and the real priorities. • Software Utilization: Manage Timely for time tracking and Click Up for task management • Budget vs. Actual Analysis: Dive into the financial side of time, reconciling planned versus actual usage, and investigating discrepancies. • Accountability and Compliance: Keep the team in line with time management practices, holding them accountable for meeting goals. • Technology Integration: Make sure tech tools serve a purpose, overseeing their implementation and optimization in our processes. • Process Optimization: Trim the fat and streamline operations – a continuous quest for efficiency. • Resource Management Oversight: Keep an eye on the financial side of time and resources, managing the chart of accounts. • Procedural Manual Oversight: Be the keeper of our procedural rulebook, ensuring it stays practical and up to date. • Weekly Management Reporting: Skip the fluff, design, and maintain straightforward weekly reports for each team, keeping management in the loop. • Agenda Preparation: No-nonsense agendas that get straight to the point. • Decision Documentation: Record decisions and why they were made – no bureaucratic nonsense. • Meeting Follow-Ups: Track and record follow-ups for no-fuss task management
