Rights and Resources Initiative is a global coalition of 21 partners and over 200 rightsholder organizations focused on advancing the forestland and resource rights of Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendant Peoples, local communities, and women within these communities. The organization works across Africa, Asia, and Latin America to drive change through research, analysis, and funding mechanisms like the Community Land Rights and Conservation Finance Initiative. RRI engages in thematic areas such as gender justice, rights and livelihoods, climate and conservation, and private sector engagement. Their efforts include supporting global and local discourses on community rights and recognizing the land rights of marginalized groups.
