Description

• Developing modern Python based applications which are part of a complex mission-critical application • Developing and testing report submission (XML/XBRL) standards for financial entities • Maintaining test cases and creating new test cases to test the reporting standards/guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college/university • 4+ years of experience in system development using Python • Prior experience with XML processing/XBRL preferred • Strong understanding of Python application software development lifecycle including Git version control, debugging tools, and testing tools • Passion for working on complex software solutions having major impact on the client we serve • Strong verbal, written communication, analytical, and organizational skills • High level of attention to detail • Positive attitude striving for continuous improvement • Ability to learn new technologies quickly • Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and carry out projects through to completion with minimal supervision • U.S. Citizenship (and willingness to undergo a background investigation)
