• The role Sales Account Executive is a Senior role in the Aspen Technology Sales group and is responsible for selling software licenses and consulting services directly to assigned customer accounts. • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota. • Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development. • Manage day to day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources. • Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, etc. • Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams. • Work as a team member on sales efforts involving global account opportunities. • Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts. • Proven experience using subsurface geomodelling software for static modelling of reservoirs (O&G, Geothermal, CCS or Upstream related applications).
• Chemical Engineering or relevant technical degree. • University degree preferred. • Extensive experience selling to customers in the Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry. • Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions. • Significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns. • Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Personal computer literacy. • Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision. • Specific industry knowledge and experience. • Familiarity with Aspen or similar products. • International company experience.
