📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • The Architect is responsible for designing and planning the construction of buildings and structures, ensuring that they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. • This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing detailed design plans, and overseeing the construction process to ensure that the projects meet design specifications, budgets, and timelines. • The Architect must balance creativity with technical expertise, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards. • Key Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to discuss project objectives, requirements, and budgets, ensuring a thorough understanding of their vision. • Develop and present design concepts, architectural plans, and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools. • Create blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models that clearly convey design intentions and specifications to clients and construction teams. • Ensure that architectural designs are in compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and regulations. • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that structural, electrical, and plumbing systems align with the architectural design. • Manage the project lifecycle, from concept development through construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction adheres to design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. • Review and approve shop drawings, material specifications, and construction schedules to ensure they align with the overall design plan. • Research and select materials, finishes, and construction techniques that meet sustainability, durability, and aesthetic standards. • Modify and update designs as necessary throughout the construction process, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring alignment with project goals. • Stay updated with industry trends, including new architectural technologies, sustainable practices, and innovative materials. • Prepare and submit necessary permits, ensuring that all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards. • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices in architecture and design. • Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders regarding design feasibility, costs, and construction methodologies. • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and stored in accordance with organizational policies and industry standards. • Perform other architectural and administrative duties as needed to support the successful completion of projects. • We are an equal opportunity employer. • All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. • Applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable law.
