Description

•The SharePoint Developer will provide SharePoint and IT development support and services for GID operations •Support division-wide development task including documentation for developing, constructing, deploying Microsoft 365 solutions and MS Office 365 migrations •Responsible for requirements gathering, documentation and SOPs, design, development, deployment, administration, monitoring, custom coding, construction, testing, trouble-shooting, customizing, implementing, modifying, enhancing, and archival activities •Maintain expertise with CDC technical environment (including Microsoft 365 and Azure) •Assist GID personnel in migrating to cloud-based IT tools •Work collaboratively with team to develop IT solutions to support staff projects •Builds and maintains SharePoint solutions including scalable web applications, IT tools and systems •Performs overall configuration and customization of SharePoint systems •Troubleshoots software, IT system and tool issues •Develop new web components using SharePoint Server, .NET, ADO.NET, VB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, SQL Server, Web Services •Perform enterprise architecture consulting activities •Design, code and implements scalable applications •Oversee architecture design and the integration of content management, portals •Conduct system training on the use of IT tools •Create web request forms using Power Apps

Requirements

•Bachelor of Science or master’s in communications, Computer Science with 5+ years experience developing websites and delivering solutions •3-5 years’ work experience in SharePoint Development and public health •1-3 years’ work experience with Power Apps and Power BI •Excellent time management and organizational skills •Development skills with various web site development tools such as Cascade, SharePoint and Infopath development •Experience with coding in HTML, JavaScript, XML, and CSS •Experience in creating web-based workflows and forms •Knowledge of web design and site implementation •Knowledge using various tools for reporting and analysis of website statistics •Excellent organizational, intrapersonal, writing and speaking skills for working with an interdisciplinary team including scientific and non-scientific collaborators •Experience preparing written documents; documenting processes and workflows •Experience with Azure cloud computing
