📋 Description
• Detailed analysis of financial and management reporting of individual portfolio companies • Analysis of business performance, provide trend analysis and develop/improve corporate reporting • Review and quality assurance of month end and quarter end close deliveries • Work with portfolio companies’ finance teams to improve efficiencies related to the financial close process • Review and audit monthly account reconciliations and risk control matrices • Set up and training of acquired portfolio companies’ finance teams on application of Volaris processes and systems • Integration of acquired companies into corporate systems and processes
🎯 Requirements
• Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) preferred • 3-5 years finance and accounting experience • Experience in a technology-based environment is an asset • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required • Excellent analytical and communication skills • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications under IFRS or US GAAP • Experience working with Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, Onestream, and BPC consolidation software is an asset • Attention to detail with an emphasis on time management to effectively meet timelines • Self-driven and motivated • Some international travel may be required
