Description

• Responsible for overall management of business strategic projects. • Champion of the project management discipline and successful project delivery. • Serves as the point of contact for all parties including business lines and third parties. • Possesses a robust understanding of the businesses they support. • Needs leadership skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple projects. • Manages and leads teams on successful execution and implementation of strategic projects. • Promotes a collaborative team environment by coaching and mentoring colleagues. • Controls projects through the use of project plans and charters. • Provides leadership and oversight for others and develops detailed project plans. • Ensures timely completion of special project assignments while adapting to changing requirements. • Oversees ongoing project status reviews and identifies risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 4-7 years Banking, Business or Project Management experience required. • Knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts of Project Management required. • 5-7 years Leading Projects in a Project Management role; Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) tool usage required. • Other Project Management Certification preferred.
