📋 Description

• The Senior Accountant is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and summarizing the financial performance of programs, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with grant and organizational requirements. • This role collaborates closely with Accounting, Grants Administration, and Program Operations to maximize revenue opportunities and optimize financial outcomes in alignment with budgetary goals. • The ideal candidate will provide key financial insights, support decision-making, and enhance financial efficiency across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting with 3+ analyzing program financial results • Minimum 4 years working for a non-profit • Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, continuous improvement, and project management • Knowledge of GAAP Financial Principles • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in financial modeling and analyses • Detail oriented and highly organized • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks • Excellent critical thinking skills • Solid understanding of Grant Accounting and Compliance with Agreements • Strong Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivots, VLookup, etc) • Strong partnering and teamwork skills; and professional and positive can do attitude • Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast paced and vibrant environment
