Description

• Atropos Health is seeking a Clinical Analyst to deliver custom analytics using its unique tool stack. • The role involves translating informatics queries into clinical questions using medical ontologies and custom technology. • The analyst will report findings to providers without providing medical advice or services.

Requirements

• Prior experience working as an analyst at a health system/life science firm/consulting firm/or financial institution. • Quantitative background, including but not limited to clinical informatics, bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, applied math, physics, or engineering. • Deep knowledge  of clinical terminology standards (ICD, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC, etc) strongly preferred. • Familiarity with manipulating and analyzing data in SQL, Python, or R. • >2 years of prior history in consulting. • High degree of critical thinking and independent problem solving. • Ability to work with a team of highly skilled experts. • Strong written and oral communication skills. Fluency in oral and written english is required. • You must be able to with standard business hours within the US time zone (8AM - 8PM EST). • Formal clinical training or experience working in a health system preferred. • Track record of producing published work (peer reviewed manuscripts or poster/podium presentations) preferred.
