📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP. • Lead and executive end-of-month responsibilities ensuring books are closed within 10 business days. • Develop and monitor financial strategies to support company growth and profitability. • Manage cash flow, financial planning, and analysis to ensure the financial health of the organization. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and other financial reporting requirements. • Partner with external auditors and tax advisors for annual filings and audits. • Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Process bi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws. • Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k), and other employee programs. • Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations, including recordkeeping and reporting requirements. • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and compliance issues. • Track and manage employee leave policies, including PTO, FMLA, and other applicable leave programs. • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring seamless transitions for new hires and departing employees.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. • Experience in HR administration, payroll processing, and benefits management. • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and HRIS/payroll systems (Paylocity preferred). • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. • Understanding of HR laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ACA, etc.). • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. • Experience in the advertising, marketing, or creative industry is a plus. • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information
