📋 Description
• Authorium is on a mission to redefine how agencies manage complex document-centric workflows by pioneering a unified platform that integrates all facets of key administrative functions, from Budgeting to Procurement to Contracting. • As a Senior Engineer at Authorium, you will be a key technical contributor in building our innovative document process automation platform. • You'll work on complex challenges at the intersection of document management, workflow automation, and data integration. • Your expertise will help shape our technical architecture while delivering robust solutions that transform how government agencies work. • Own and architect significant technical features from conception to production deployment. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and security standards. • Collaborate with product and design teams to implement elegant solutions for complex workflow challenges. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation. • Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that shape our platform. • Contribute to our continuous integration and deployment processes.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant work on enterprise SaaS applications • Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript frameworks • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and optimization techniques • Proven track record of building scalable, maintainable software systems • Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns • Experience with cloud services (AWS) and containerization technologies • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment • Experience with document processing and workflow automation systems • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements • Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems • Experience with Redis, Sidekiq, or similar background processing systems • Experience working with government or enterprise clients • Contributions to open-source projects
