Description

• Join WordPress VIP, the enterprise division of Automattic. • Build and maintain scalable, secure content experiences. • Develop enterprise-ready WordPress plugins • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders. • Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve observability, reliability, and security of products. • Perform on-call duties as part of a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• Deep, demonstrable knowledge of modern WordPress development and Gutenberg block development and its internal APIs. • Skilled in React, PHP, and the WordPress ecosystem. • Experience working with a large-scale system to make it faster, more scalable, and more fault-tolerant. • Highly collaborative, with a strong enthusiasm for participating in code reviews and discussions about architecture, technical design, and solving customer problems. • Knowledgeable about design patterns and testability; experienced with testing frameworks, performance testing, and unit testing is very welcome. • Customer-focused mindset, with good instincts on product design and user experience. • Willingness to learn.
