Description

• Opportunity to join a nimble accounting team that thrives on innovation, accuracy, and continuous professional development. • As a Staff Accountant, you’ll be an integral part of our month-end close process, procurement-to-pay cycle, audit support, and other accounting areas as assigned. • We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical individual who is passionate about accounting operations and driving process improvements in a fast-paced, scaling environment. • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate reconciliation across multiple accounts, including banking, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, benefits, and payroll as part of the month-end close process. • Assist in preparing variance analysis, financial statements, and performance dashboards, providing meaningful commentary on actual results versus forecasts. • Reconcile cash transactions and bank statements for multiple corporate bank accounts daily. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support financial audits, ensuring successful and timely completion with auditors and third-party stakeholders. • Take ownership of the full-cycle accounts payable (A/P) process, from invoice processing to managing the A/P inbox. • Collaborate with procurement for purchase orders and virtual card creation and analyze A/P aging for timely payment disbursement. • Manage the travel and expense reimbursement process, ensuring all employee expense reports are processed promptly and in line with company policies. • Take on special projects and other accounting or administrative tasks as needed. • Contribute to ongoing process improvements as the company scales, driving efficiencies and enhancing operations.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or MBA is a bonus. • 1+ years of accounting experience, with a focus in General Ledger and Accounts Payable. • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting systems (NetSuite, Airbase, Floqast, etc.). • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, formulas and perform data analysis. • A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and creative problem-solving abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. • Ability to efficiently prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
