Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior General Accountant to join our client’s dynamic finance team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations, with a focus on revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, particularly in revenue recognition, and experience in small business or consumer/retail accounting.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a general accountant, with a focus on revenue recognition and accounts receivable. Experience in small business or consumer/retail accounting; experience in the medical or dental industry is a plus. Familiarity with cost accounting and some financial planning. Proficiency in general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. In-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong understanding of financial accounting statements and business trends.
