Description

• Provide leadership for Data Science application development • Responsible for supporting Availity’s core products and leading development life cycle • Design, prototype, develop, deploy and improve statistical and machine learning solutions • Develop and translate business requirements into functional specifications • Anticipate and analyze new trends in technology • Manage financial and technology resources to ensure quality solutions • Primary liaison between data science and other business groups • Responsibilities include hiring, goal setting, appraisal, coaching and other duties as specified

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field • 8 years of experience in analytic application development with people and financial management responsibilities • 5 years of experience in managing analytics teams and building relationships • 3 years of hands-on experience in developing analytics solutions in healthcare Data Science • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies • Understanding of Data Science and machine learning development methodologies
