Description

• Develop records and policies as they relate to data management and processing • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes • Extract and analyze blockchain data from the Avalanche network and other Web3 sources to monitor trends and performance indicators • Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing • Design and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports that provide insights into network activities, its decentralized economy, and the monitoring of its health • Monitor and audit data quality • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand data content • Use appropriate tools and techniques to advance the interests of the business within the scope of the responsibilities • Design and carry out surveys and analyze survey data • Manipulate, analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to the Foundation’s activities • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools • Understand and evaluate the impact of Avalanche Foundation Programs using on-chain data to measure effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualizations • Provide sector and competitor benchmarking • Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool • Contribute to the publication of reports, articles and data • Provide statistical and analytical support • Respond to internal and external queries about data and research • Deliver quantitative and qualitative research projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, statistics, computer science, or related field • Experience in applied research or data management would be advantageous • Strong mathematical, analytical, and data modeling skills • Ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Dune) • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team-working skills • Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel • Attention to detail and organizational skills • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills • Significant experience in Web3 and Crypto • Ability to set a strong vision for a team and follow through to execution • Ability to establish relationships and build rapport to inform decision-making across the Foundation • Expertise at building strong relationships with technical and non-technical audiences, and can leverage creative thinking and efficient processes • Exceptional time management skills • Must reside outside of the United States
