• Avertium is the managed security and consulting provider that companies turn to when they want more than check-the-box cybersecurity. • This role involves network and web application penetration testing and client presentations. • The expectation is that a candidate will be a self-starter with minimal guidance to perform testing within Avertium’s methodology.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s in information security or a related field is preferred. • A candidate must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. • 4+ years in performing penetration tests within a consulting role • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry best practices is required. • Expert knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. • Professional certifications from viable authorities (Offensive Security, SANS) are required • Experience and proficiency in network and system administration is required. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective team collaboration and cross-functional communication with stakeholders is required.
