📋 Description

• Avetta is a leading software company revolutionizing supply chain risk management. • The Director of Data Science will be responsible for leading the data science functions within the organization. • Develop and execute the overall data science strategy aligned with the company’s objectives. • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. • Build a culture that fosters the use of “Generative AI” across R&D. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth. • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of all data science deliverables. • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, and evaluate their potential application within the organization. • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and experience with data science tools and frameworks. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
