📋 Description

• The Commercial Leader for the Americas will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for Azenta´s Products division. • This role involves leading a cross-functional team to drive revenue growth, enhance market share, and expand our customer base. • The role will report directly to the President of Azenta´s Sample Management division. • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for the Americas that aligns with overall business objectives and maximizes revenue across multiple product lines. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the Americas region. • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive performance. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. • Lead the Global Processes for SMS Sales, driving strategic sales initiatives across the division while ensuring alignment, efficiency, and best practices in overall global sales processes. • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of commercial initiatives. • Oversee the commercial budget for the Americas, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve business objectives. • Foster a high-performance culture within the team by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, joint ventures, and new product introductions.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles, with a focus on sales and marketing within the life science sector. • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets across multiple product lines in the Americas region. • Strong analytical skills and experience in market analysis and competitive intelligence. • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. • Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools. • This role requires extensive travel to meet with teams, clients and stakeholders across the Americas.
