• The Claims Consultant is an expert in managing insurance claims on an individual and portfolio level for clients. • The role requires technical knowledge and experience in insurance claims handling and risk mitigation techniques. • Develop relationships and effectively communicate with clients, carriers, and colleagues. • Drive favorable client Cost of Risk results through strategic vision and tactical execution of risk mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. • Ability to clearly articulate value, influence others and motivate action. • Time management skills and ability to coordinate calendars with multiple stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary. • Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture. • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 3 years of claims adjusting or consulting experience preferred. • Certification(s): None required; AIC, ARM, SLCA preferred. • License(s): Adjusters license preferred. • Rapid understanding and adoption of RMIS (Origami).
