Description

β€’ Responsible for managing a team of underwriting analysts. β€’ Support the underwriting process, ensuring accuracy and integrity of submission data. β€’ Collaborate with agents and senior underwriters, participate in underwriting audits, and contribute to the development of guidelines and strategies. β€’ Supervise and mentor underwriting analysts, enhancing skills and professional growth. β€’ Implement procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business β€’ Minimum of 5 years of underwriting commercial property or casualty business, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. β€’ Strong understanding of underwriting principles, practices, and guidelines. β€’ Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail. β€’ Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. β€’ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external agents. β€’ Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. β€’ Proficiency in underwriting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
