Description
• Manage a team of underwriting analysts. • Support underwriting decision-making. • Ensure accuracy of submission data. • Create and implement underwriting procedures. • Provide mentorship to junior team members. • Participate in underwriting audits.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business • Minimum of 5 years of underwriting commercial property or casualty business • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. • Strong understanding of underwriting principles, practices, and guidelines. • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in underwriting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
