Description

• Responsible for driving quality, stability, and operational excellence across MSI’s software engineering teams. • Oversee engineering managers who cover renters, homeowners, flood, and other consumer insurance products. • Manage engineering teams who support consumer-facing portals, APIs for distribution partners, and other mission-critical solutions. • Ensure a high standard of technical and operational excellence. • Advocate for a “run what you build” mentality. • Hold teams accountable for stability, security, maintainability, adaptability, and customer experience.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software organizations, with at least 3 years as a manager-of-managers. • Experience in leading technical strategy for high-volume, mission-critical systems. • Success in building and scaling technical teams, with a track record of hiring and developing top talent. • Expertise in designing and operating resilient, reliable systems with robust monitoring and observability practices. • Background in high-growth, consumer-facing, transactional services. • Experience in insurance/InsurTech, finance/FinTech, or other regulated environments. • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in software development or infrastructure engineering. • Experience with large-scale workloads in Azure; background in .NET.
