• Drive transformation of the accounting department • Implement best-in-class financial reporting practices • Preparation of financial statements • Oversee month-end close process • Collaborate with external auditors • Ensure regulatory compliance • Mentor and develop junior accounting staff • Enhance overall team performance • Continuously achieve business day month-end close
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA designation required • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience • Extensive exposure to general ledger management • Financial reporting • Month-end close processes • In-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) • Strong expertise in ASC 606 for revenue recognition • Experience with leading ERP systems such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct • Prior experience in a private equity-backed SaaS environment • Strong technical writing skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, virtual work environment • Strong judgment and creativity in solving complex problems • Proven success in fast-paced, high-growth environments
