• Barbaricum is a rapidly growing government contractor providing leading-edge support to federal customers, particularly in Defense and National Security. • The Safety Engineer will serve as the lead for system safety engineering activities overseeing safety engineering efforts across all life cycle phases. • Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and ensure compliance with safety standards to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance • A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or general Engineering from a college or university. • A Master’s degree in any of the preceding disciplines may be substituted for one year of general experience. • A minimum of five years experience in the development, analysis, and evaluation of system safety artifacts in support of U.S. Military ground vehicle systems.
