Description

• Provide comprehensive engineering, commissioning, and start-up support for distributed generation projects. • Manage a variety of DER and microgrid assets – such as solar, energy storage, controls, and reciprocating engines. • Significant travel throughout project states and to the factory in Green Bay, WI, often up to 2 weeks at a time.

Requirements

• Two-year degree or technical certification in an electrical-related program and/or 5+ years of work experience as a shop or field electrical technician. • Exhibit knowledge of control circuits and PLCs, gas engine controls, switchgear controls, generator installation, solar inverters, and repair, and a willingness to learn others as needed. • Understanding of specific standards included in the EGSA certification. • Demonstrate knowledge of basic distribution protective relay testing, breaker function testing, and generator testing. • Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
