📋 Description

• We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our product aligned sprint teams. • Drive design and implementation of BARBRI’s software solutions that meet quality and functional requirements. • Maintain good working relationships with cross-functional teams. • Implement sprint team’s share of BARBRI’s technology roadmap. • Collaborate with the architecture team to facilitate technical alignment and understanding. • Participate in R&D and infusion of new technologies into product lines. • Support the integrity of the platform software architecture. • Contribute to technical sizing of requirements and communicate technical risks.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Information Systems or equivalent professional certification and work experience. • 5+ years’ experience in web application development, full-stack. • Prefer experience in modern software design and architecture. • Experience designing and implementing components of a high performance, scalable and globally delivered web-based software solutions using Java/.NET. • Understanding of fundamental software design principles and their merits. • Proven track record of successfully delivered projects. • Knowledge of major reusable software mechanisms and patterns. • Proficiency in .NET environment, GIT, Azure DevOps. • Experience designing and building rich front-ends and data visualization using modern web stack – Angular, VueJS, React, Blazor, etc. • Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL engines. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Collaborative team player, working in agile environment and balancing potential complexity with consideration to required scope & schedule limitations.
