📋 Description

• We’re looking for a highly driven Software Test Engineer to join our growing engineering team and take ownership of our QA automation efforts. • Own and drive testing efforts across our web applications, including test planning, execution, and reporting • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools • Perform comprehensive API testing and validate integrations using Postman and related tools • Create and manage test cases using TestRails or similar platforms • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and support teams to identify risks and ensure high-quality releases • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and help build reliable deployment processes • Track bugs and manage testing workflows in ClickUp • Conduct visual and functional testing across multiple browsers/devices using BrowserStack • Write clear, Gherkin-style test cases for consistency and clarity • Utilize observability tools like DataDog to validate metrics and logs during testing • Participate in release planning and understand full deployment cycles • Mentor junior team members and help define long-term QA strategies and best practices • Review UI/UX flows in Figma or Zeplin to ensure pixel-perfect execution

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or testing roles • Proficiency in JavaScript, with experience writing tests and automation scripts • Familiarity with Node.js and React-based applications • Strong grasp of API testing concepts and tools • Working knowledge of at least one of: JavaScript, Python, or SQL • Experience testing in an agile, continuous integration environment • Familiarity with version control tools, especially GitHub • A clear understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and release cycles • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong ownership mindset, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying issues • Comfortable in high-velocity, collaborative environments • Startup experience (especially at Series A/B) is a strong plus • English language proficiency is required
