Description

• Autodesk is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager, Event Finance Operations to join our Global Events & Experiences team. • This role will oversee all aspects of event financial operations including budgeting, financial planning, and reporting across our events portfolio. • Establish and maintain a cost-control environment, ensuring budget alignment. • Lead process improvements for financial reconciliation and implement standardized policies and procedures for event-related accounting and legal compliance. • Collaborate with leadership to manage department spending and provide budget performance insights. • Fully manage the forecast and reporting of our contra expense, including sponsorship and registration revenue. • Support the Event Sponsorship team throughout the sponsorship lifecycle, from package setup to payment reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field • 5-8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or budget management within events, preferably in enterprise software companies. • Proficient in technology platforms such as Allocadia, Ariba, PowerBI, and other enterprise-level financial and reporting systems. • Strong financial and forecasting skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines. • Willingness to travel ~ 3-5 times per year to support event operations on-site.
