Description

β€’ Manage end-to-end payroll processes for both exempt and nonexempt employees, including data entry, timesheet validation, and pay calculations. β€’ Ensure payroll practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax withholdings, garnishments, and reporting requirements. β€’ Oversee the accurate calculation, filing and reporting of payroll taxes (federal, state, and local). β€’ Maintain and update payroll systems to reflect accurate employee data, including salary changes, benefit deductions, and other payroll related adjustments. β€’ Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll, tax deductions, or direct deposit. β€’ Generate and submit payroll reports for internal stakeholders, such as finance and HR teams, providing insights into labor costs, taxes, and other payroll metrics. β€’ Manage year-end processes, including preparation of W-2 forms, reviewing payroll data for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with year-end tax filings.

Requirements

β€’ 5-7 years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge of payroll systems (eg. ADP, Paycom, Workday, etc) β€’ Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus. β€’ Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing and tax laws.
