Description

• As a Cybersecurity Engineer at BECU, you’ll play a crucial role in securing and maintaining a seamless enterprise infrastructure that supports our mission of delivering uninterrupted service to our members. • You’ll design, implement, and manage solutions across a complex, multi-platform environment, contributing directly to our cybersecurity posture. • This position puts you at the forefront of protecting BECU’s systems—from data protection and identity management to enabling disaster recovery—ensuring we stay ahead of potential threats while enhancing our cybersecurity maturity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science or equivalent education or work experience • Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in cyber security, security engineering, network engineering, computer incident response, systems architecture, digital platform security (cloud), or related experience • Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS) • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS • Proficiency with cloud platform security like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud • Active CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification • Additional certifications in cloud technology such as CCSK or CCSP • Experience evaluating risk and communicating it in a fact-based manner. • Conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
