Description

• Responsible for tuning complex SQL queries, procedures and indexing strategies • Identify missing indexes on the databases and implement for better performance • Analysis of long running, execution plans and provide recommendations • Experience in transaction replication in replicating large size tables • Analyze, design, develop, test, maintain and implement database solutions • Working with other disciplines to design the best product solutions • Use expertise to provide technical leadership for an application development team • Performing full life cycle SQL/NoSql code and model development • Create solutions utilizing the best data storage technology • Work with performance engineers to monitor system health and performance • Apply data modeling techniques • Assist developers with complex query tuning, schema refinement, and determining differences between releases/environments • Performs database code/script/package reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a CS, Engineering, or related field • 7+ years of developing for MS SQL Server or performing Database Engineering duties • Experience with relational databases reaching over 10TB • Heavy performance tuning experience and SQL optimization • Experience with non-traditional methods of performance tuning • Mentorship abilities required • Ability to work shoulder to shoulder with development teams.
