📋 Description

• BerryDunn is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Medicaid consulting team. • As part of our consulting team focused on state Medicaid agencies, you will work within Medicaid policy to help agencies implement new programs, and administer their current program. • You’ll be the success partner for Medicaid agencies in building healthier communities and stronger futures. • You will work remotely, hybrid, or in one of our offices, helping clients nationally. • You will report to and partner with management team members and our Medicaid subject matter experts for both client work and career development. • With a growth mindset, you will drive your own development. • Your initial work will be in support of our client in West Virginia while gaining experience to serve as a lead for our policy work in Guam.

🎯 Requirements

• Drive and initiative • Five or more years working for a Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives or consulting with Medicaid agencies on policy initiatives. • Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to comply with the regulation. • Experience working with most Medicaid payment authorities such as waivers and the state plan • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Public Policy, Health Management, or Public Health, or a similar field • Demonstrated experience in relationship building and teamwork • Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills • Willingness to travel • Preferred – experience in MAGI and non-MAGI eligibility • Preferred – experience navigating the reimbursement portion of state plans
