Description

• Manage projects and operations within animal shelters across the U.S. • Collaborate with shelter leadership to implement strategies for no-kill communities. • Optimize operations and save lives of individual animals. • Handle various aspects of animal shelter and field services programming. • Engage with adopters, partners, visitors, and volunteers in a non-judgmental manner. • Must have the ability to travel extensively and relocate temporarily.

Requirements

• Previous experience in leadership roles within animal shelters. • Comprehensive understanding of proven animal sheltering and field operations strategies. • 5+ years of experience working for or with an animal welfare organization. • Strengths in utilizing statistical information for strategic plans. • Proven attention to detail with advanced organizational and time management skills. • Prior experience and understanding of diplomacy when working with stakeholders. • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred. • Customer-centric, non-judgmental approach to engaging with others. • Excellent leadership skills in fast-paced situations. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
