📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • The OEM US Support Manager acts as the critical link and main point of contact between the parent company, its R&D Team in Belgium, and the Company’s external Customers and Partners. • The Support Manager works independently to solve Customer issues/problems and proactively contributes towards solutions. • The Support Manager provides input into future product needs and industry challenges relating to coolant development direction. • The Support Manager supports and helps guide existing development programs to ensure alignment with market realities/requirements. • The Support Manager will support the product introduction at strategic OEM customers and the mother companies in the US and is the Company Ambassador in the US. • Develop long-term technical relationships with OEMs that are industry Drivers: Communicate OEM Trends and developments to team members and key stakeholders. • Manage product line support for key Customers and US OEMs, addressing product & technical issues. • Secure and manage required approvals/licenses on existing formulations and formulation changes.

🎯 Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% or more, including some international • Current and valid Passport for international travel • Current and valid Driver’s license • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific field from a regionally accredited college or university (Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred) • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Coolant Development or a related field required • Strong technical ability and in-depth scientific knowledge related to formulation chemistry and application insights required • Strong analytical skills – able to analyze and evaluate complex technical scientific information related to chemicals, fluids, and mechanical engineering principles required • Strong business acumen – able to understand business processes, principles, and financial elements that inform good business decisions required • Good presentation skills – able to present information using a variety of media forms including presentation software required • Good communication skills – able to share complex information with customers and business partners at all corporate levels with widely varying levels of technical understanding required • Able to demonstrate a high degree of creativity and innovation required • Ability to both work independently as a self-starter for long periods of time and collaboratively as a member or leader of a team or project required • Minimum of intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word) required
