Description

• Ensure core business processes are supported, maintained, and improved. • Collaborate with Business Applications team and the development group. • Craft test methodologies and implement improvements. • Advocate for best practices that improve software quality. • Monitor and manage defects at all stages of development. • Partner with development team on Quality Dashboard. • Build a testing framework for platform. • Execute acceptance and exploratory testing. • Help foster a culture around delivering quality software.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software development with a heavy focus on quality. • BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science • Passionate about the quality and integrity of software experiences • Empathize with and advocate for users • Great communication skills to facilitate meetings, discovery sessions, story writing and documentation • Thrive in an agile environment where individuals and interactions matter more than process • Excellent ability to communicate in English • Speak up with constructive feedback. • Identify application weaknesses and bad practices • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and debugging skills • Question everything, always • Knowledge working with JIRA • Experience in development best practices including agile processes, testing methodologies and continuous integration • Experience in version control concepts and tools for deployment & release management (Github or similar tools) • Define, measure and report on test objectives, coverage metrics, error rates and thresholds, holding other engineers accountable for technical quality measurements
