Description

• Lead design and development of data architecture and pipelines • Establish standards, protocols, and best practices for data infrastructure • Design and maintain ETL pipelines for biological data • Partner with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field; MS or PhD preferred • 5+ years of experience in bioinformatics or software development • Experience designing and deploying scalable ETL pipelines and infrastructure • Proven track record of establishing standards and best practices • Experience in an agile development environment with test-driven development methodologies • Proficient in programming languages (Python, R, SQL/no-SQL) • Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Familiarity with public domain data sets and tools
